Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using Techlynx or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours may vary between screens, and minor packaging differences can occur between batches. We do not guarantee that descriptions are entirely free of error, and we reserve the right to correct mistakes.

4. Pricing

All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it only when we confirm it and dispatch the item. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where stock is unavailable, the address appears invalid, or we suspect fraud.

6. Cash on Delivery

COD is available island-wide. Payment is due in full, in cash, at the point of delivery. Couriers may not be able to provide change for large notes. Repeatedly refusing COD parcels may result in COD being disabled for your address or number.

7. Stock

Stock levels shown are indicative. If an item sells out after you order it, we will contact you to offer a replacement, a wait, or a full refund.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photographs, logos, and layout — belongs to Techlynx or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with its operation.

10. Third-party links

We may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept them.
